You’ll find our Auckland Lone Star restaurant at 8 Kent Street, deep in the heart of cultural (and fashionable) Newmarket. Known to Maori as “te Ti Tutahi “or “the Sacred Cabbage Tree Stands Alone“, But it actually acquired its name from the cattle markets established in the area back in the 1850’s.
Our Café/Restaurant caters for up to 150 guests, and in addition, we offer an exclusive function room that will comfortably accommodate another 50. This function area has its own projector for sports events, and this room is perfect for that social occasion, corporate function, or just a loud Thursday.
Absolutely no need to worry about finding a park at Lone Star Newmarket Restaurant - we have 2 parking buildings nearby-one right next door(entry by Khyber Pass) and another across the road on Kent Street, Auckland.
This is a great place to watch any sporting event on our large plasma screens, it has the Rialto cinema just a stones throw away, and is located in the fashion capital of New Zealand, so why not get your friends and family together and join us for dinner and a couple of “Sherberts” before or after the movies- we’d love to host you.
