The site of the Palmerston North Lone Star restaurant has been lovingly restored and renovated from an original 1878 building. Although there has been extensive work the building’s historical façade remains as well as the original wood flooring which has been re-used and even the bar surfaces are fashioned from Heart-Rimu timber salvaged during restoration. Located at 41-42 The Square, the Palmerston North Lone Star restaurant can seat 120 guests along with another 40 in a special function room. Two bars offer a comfortable imbibing environment with luxurious, secluded booths with a strong emphasis on lounging – which we feel is an integral part of enjoying a drink. Children are welcome and even have their own menu to choose from.
