Established in 2002, the Lone Star Wellington restaurant is nestled in the Courtney Quarter in a real character office block formerly known as the “Globe Building”. This circa 1920 structure has been lovingly restored with a blend of both historical and modern design. Inside you’ll find a sprawling contemporary and luxurious area in which to dine, imbibe and relax in - a reputable addition to the gastronomic centre of New Zealand. Downstairs the Café seats around 130, including relaxing booth areas and an eye-catching flaming star fireplace (a much sought after dining location, especially during the winter months). Upstairs we have an elegant, opulent Lounge Bar with DJs most nights and a function room which caters for up to 60 people, available 7 days per week.
