Papanui is home to Northlands Shopping Centre, the largest Mall in the South Island, and it just so happens that the Lone Star is located in this vast, sprawling retail metropolis, literally next door to Hoyts at 116 Northlands Mall in Langdons Road. The Lone Star team have designed a Cafe as beautiful and functional as any in Aotearoa. The downstairs floor has some extra character – it’s fashioned from old Kauri railway sleepers and check out the beautiful art on display throughout the restaurant – a tribute to New Zealand and our cowboy roots. It looks brilliant. At the Lone Star Papanui we can seat around 110 guests, mainly in our upstairs area, but there is room on the ground floor for another 25 people – ideal for that group outing – simply call us and we’ll sort out the details for you and give you a wonderful night. We also have an extensive and sumptuous lunch menu available from 12pm - 3pm where you can select from a variety of fare. As in all the Lone Stars, kids have their own menu and plenty of entertainment – a blackboard to scrawl upon and a toy box full of vintage Tonka toys to play with .
