Our Famous Lone Star restaurant in Dunedin became our first franchised operation, opening at 417 Princes Street in 1993 on the heels of our Queenstown Café. Gaelic for Edinburgh, it is owned and operated by Nick and Neisha Nilsen (bit of alliteration there), they hit the town armed with a wealth of experience gleaned from their time working in the original Loney - the mother-ship in Christchurch. They passionately run a warm, cosy Café which, like Dunedin, is humming. Here in Scarfie City, our Café can seat up to 130 guests and we also have the Memphis Function Bar upstairs to host your next large party from 21st's, Anniversary celebrations and Social Club events. And as in all our Cafes throughout New Zealand, Children are always welcome and have their very own menu. Come and see us soon, we'd love have you visit.
