Sous Chef


We are looking for a Sous Chef with necessary qualifications and experience to the team at Lone Star Riccarton.

The Lone Star is a legendary name within the hospitality industry with over 30 years of service. 

The Lone Star is famous for providing quality food to our guests using only the best and freshest produce. This is a challenging and exciting role for someone with initiative, energy and passion.

Lone Star Riccarton are looking for an excellent Sous Chef to join our Kitchen team. This is a fast paced role that will require initiative, and good communication skills. You will need to be honest, reliable, and a team player who is willing to go that extra mile.

Job Requirements

The successful candidates skills will include:

Experience - Prior experience in a fast paced kitchen environment 

Process management - The ability to follow long standing and successful systems/procedures 

Work Culture - Establishing positive working relationships, always striving to maintain a great workplace culture.

Stress management -  The Lone Star is a busy bar and cafe with the need to maintain a cool and calm manner during stressful times.
