Queenstown Function Rooms

Lone Star Queenstown has two separate function areas. The first is a huge space with seating for up to 90 guests and room for as many more to drink in the bar and pool table area. This room has two plasma TV’s and a huge projector screen for watching sports. This upstairs room has two quite distinctive dining areas each can seat approximately 45 guests.

We also have a small private room which is often referred to as our “locals room”. This intimate and cosy room can seat up to 32 guests for dinner and has its own balcony and small plasma TV.

Locals Room

Commonly referred to as the Locals Room this cosy and intimate room is upstairs of the main bar and has four tables that can be arranged individually for 32 guests or when placed together can seat approximately 20 guests.

The Function Room

The Function Room is the upstairs part of Lone Star Queenstown. It is normally possible to book this out except some nights during peak season. You can also book a part of the room out, although generally not exclusively. This room can seat up to approximately 90 guests for dinner and still have room for approximately 70-90 guests to be in the bar and pool table area. It is a popular area for large sporting games particularly All Black matches utilising a projector screen and two plasma TV’s. We take great pride in organising functions and events and we run with the “nothing is a problem” attitude to make things as easy as we can for our valued guests. We believe that when it comes to delivering a range of high quality prepared menu items for large groups within tight time frames we have it nailed. We have a number of set menus that we have used over the years and we often tailor group specific menus to sort specific needs.
