At the corner of Jackson and Buick Streets, Lone Star Petone is a Lower Hutt favourite for big feeds and big celebrations. With two dedicated function spaces and easy access to the bar, it’s the perfect spot for work parties, birthdays, and everything in between.
The Void Bar
With wheelchair access and its own entrance off the main bar, The Void Bar can be closed off for your exclusive use. A TV with Sky or your own presentation, Lone Star’s signature music, and a mix of leaners, cushioned seating, and bar stools make it ideal for groups of up to 70 guests. It’s a great fit for drinks and nibbles, with platter options or items from the snack menu – plus a nearby smoking lane with radiant heaters for cooler Wellington nights.
Private Dining Room
Upstairs, the private dining function room seats up to 40 people in a warm, mezzanine-style space. With a TV (Sky or your own content), a small bar, and the option to switch to a late-night playlist, it’s perfect for sit-down dinners, celebrations, and more formal events that still want a bit of Lone Star fun.
